Habhub

This short video shows you what Habhub is and why people need it.
Due to the limitation in resources, stroke patients are often discharged prematurely from public hospitals.  While it is critical for the patients to receive proper rehabilitation even after being discharged, there is no existing mechanism that facilitates the process.
Habhub provides a platform for family and professional support, and it can drastically improve the quality of therapy and speed of recovery.  Additional features such as data tracking and video recording allow patients to receive accurate instructions and feedback for their rehabilitation exercises performed at home. Stroke patients and family will benefit the most from it as it helps save them time, money and energy.

ElderTreks

Hoping that history can be passed down by sharing of memories, four university students founded the social enterprise Eldertreks which aims at training the elderly to be local tour guides and enabling the younger generation to learn more about Old Hong Kong. Being extremely familiar with the community, the elderly would share each and every unique story of their own, taking you back in time to experience the many undocumented moments in Hong Kong.

Value Chain Hostel

Value Chain Hostel provides homeless people a chance to reborn. Nowadays, many employers are not willing to hire them due to several reasons, most typically being the homeless do not have a formal address. The homeless who experienced prolonged unemployment may lose the impetus for working. Yet, Value Chain Hostel strongly believes that through providing them with a series of training, the homeless will eventually become a qualified hostel staff fit for jobs including receptionists and room cleaners. They will be offered accommodation in Value Chain Hostel as long as they work with us. We will also build a support network to provide them with emotional support. In general, the participating homeless will “graduate” from Value Chain Hostel upon completing a three-year programme. By referring jobs in the hospitality industry, Value Chain Hostel helps them earn their living and end the homelessness.
Our team is working hard to turn the ideas into reality. Your support means so much to us. Please stay tuned to our feeds for more updates.
